Mobile Phone as Identity
I would like draw kind attention of our Prime Minister Mr Narendra Damodar Das Modi on the subject, who is interested to promote a Digital India:
(1)
We acknowledge the Right to Information, Right to Education enacted by UPA-2 governemtn. But yet
we are waiting for Right to Communication to complete the Right to IEC. It can
be understood mainly in two forms - One is Road Communication and other
one is Telecommunication. However we have focusing on Telecommunication here.
(2) Last NDA Prime Minister Mr Atal
Behari Bajpayee has achieved the road communication better. However
could not achieve better telecommunication. I remember he said that
MOBILE COMMUNICATION IS JOINING HEARTS.
(3) But Mobile phones are
not allowing our mobility across the nation with ease due to barriers
like Roaming protocols. Our govt. should hold the policy of "one nation,
one number for one person throughout the life," which could be owned
on hereditary basis.
(4) Last UPA govt's last telecom minister had
promised thrice to provide roaming barrier-free telecom service to the
nation. But failed to execute it due to some wrong and misguided
interpretation of Telecom Operators.
(5) If a family of Vadodara
residing in Katak for 20 years and then the family decided to come back
to their original soil. Then all the family members would change their
number/ network etc. forgetting their attachment and identity of mobile
numbers used since last decade.
(6) For the national security, one
nation-one circle policy should be adopted. It would also check the
misappropriation of spectrum by telecom operators. Number of actual
active costumers could be traced. Govt of India should evolve such an
intelligent customer database tracker for mobile operators. Because most
of the sold out mobile numbers are not in service actually.
(7)
SMS is a tragedy in our nation now. This fear-psychosis of Govt of India
took place after North-East people suddenly left Bengaluru in 2012 due to a
MMS came from Pakistan. Our govt. should review its policy in this
regard.
(8) Cell Broadcast message should only permit Indian
Languages and messages in Roman script. Other languages should not be
allowed in Mobile manufacturing logic. It is also another security
issue.
(9) The biggest tragedy in Mobile phone matter is Handset
manufacturing. I don't know which authority is controlling quality of
handsets in India? Mobile devices are not yet standardized like
electrical appliances and implements in India. Varieties of mobile jacks
are lacking compatibility among handsets.
(10) Varieties of
rechargeable batteries are a headache for all mobilephone users. It
should be standardized like disposable battery cells for torchlights,
radio sets, remotes, and wall-clocks etc.
(11) After standardization of
mobile phone batteries, MAKE IN INDIA slogan can be converted to MADE IN
INDIA surely. I mean many of genuine Indian manufactures can be
groomed.
(12) Irrespective of voltage variations of batteries; the size, weight and dimension of batteries should be uniform.
(13)
Most of the handset manufactures are not providing Indian Languages in
the system and OS. Indian language on smart phones and handsets can
ensure better e-Governance and m-Governance in India.
(14) So
Govt. of India must issue clear guidelines for handset manufactures to
provide Indian languages in all handsets with Unicode characters.
I
suspect the contributions of high-paid consultants and authority
members under Govt of India. Hope a very professional action by our
beloved Prime Minister Narendra Bhai in this regard, which need no or low investment to ensure.
